Note: Paid features may not be enabled in all App versions or regions. This section applies whenever in-app purchase functionality is available.

4.4 Information we do not collect

We do not intentionally collect:

4.5 Information collected automatically by third-party SDKs

We use Firebase Core, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. When the App connects to these services, Google may automatically process certain technical information needed to operate them, which can include:

We do not use Firebase to build user profiles or to track you across other apps or websites. Firebase Analytics is not enabled in our App. We do not integrate Google Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy documentation.

5. How We Use Information

We use information only to:

  1. Provide core features — display hymns, favorites, audio player, sheet music viewer, search, and settings
  2. Sync content — fetch the latest hymn catalog and media from Firebase
  3. Improve reliability — cache content locally for offline use
  4. Verify in-app purchases — when you buy or restore hymnbook unlock through Google Play or Apple
  5. Prompt App updates — compare your version with the store listing
  6. Send optional important announcements — App and hymnbook updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging when you leave the feature enabled
  7. Comply with law — respond to valid legal requests when required

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK users)

Firebase, Google Play, and Apple services may process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States. Where required, those providers offer appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including:

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

11. Device Permissions

The App requires Internet access to sync hymns, download media, and connect to Firebase and store services.

On Android, the App may request notification permission for daily praise reminders and optional important announcements (App and hymnbook updates). On iOS, it may request permission to show alerts, badges, and sounds for the same purposes.

On Android, when in-app purchases are enabled, the App uses Google Play Billing. The billing permission is included automatically by Google’s billing library and is used only to process and restore purchases through Google Play.

We do not request permissions for location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library.

When you share hymn text, you choose the destination app; we do not control third-party apps you share to.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We respect applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction. Contact us to exercise rights available under local law.

13. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through payment or support channels, contact us at appsindustry068@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the App and any sharing or payment features.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may open downloaded files in external viewers (PDF/image/audio apps) via the operating system. Those apps have their own privacy policies.

Media files may be loaded from Firebase Storage. In-app purchases are handled by Google Play or Apple. We are not responsible for third-party services you choose to use outside the App.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on our website.
